For the Tortilla Bowls
  • 8 pieces corn tortillas You can also use flour tortillas.
  • 1 serving cooking spray Alternatively, use oil to brush on tortillas.
  • to taste salt Optional for flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Wrap the corn tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave on high for 30-45 seconds to soften.
  3. Spray both sides of each tortilla with cooking spray and sprinkle lightly with salt, if desired.
Baking
  1. Turn a muffin tin upside down and drape each tortilla over a muffin cup.
  2. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned and crispy.

Notes

For a healthier version, use whole wheat tortillas. Store leftover tortilla bowls in an airtight container at room temperature. If freezing, let cool completely before placing in a freezer-safe bag.
