- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Form the cheese mixture into a ball and place it on a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap the ball tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the chopped pecans or walnuts. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the nut mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated cheese ball on a serving platter and serve with crackers, sliced bread, and fresh vegetables.
Notes
Store leftovers tightly wrapped in plastic for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Serve with assorted dippers such as sliced baguette and fresh vegetables.
