  • 4 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter Use unsalted butter if preferred
  • 1 cup chocolate chips You can use white chocolate chips for a lighter look

Preparation
  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in Rice Krispies until well coated.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips until combined.
  5. Press mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan and let cool.
  6. Cut into squares and enjoy your treats!

Notes

For a festive touch, add green food coloring to the melted marshmallow. Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
