Main Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French Bread Loaf 1 loaf generally makes 4 pizzas
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For brushing the bread
  • 1 jar Pizza sauce Or any preferred sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese Plenty for topping
  • Any toppings you want Customize as desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Cut a French loaf in half both ways so you have four pieces.
  3. Brush both sides of the bread pieces with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake on the middle rack for 3-4 minutes or until they start to get golden brown, cut side up.
Topping and Baking
  1. Remove the bread from the oven, add desired pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  2. Sprinkle a little extra cheese over toppings to help them stick.
  3. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is nice and melty.
  4. Serve immediately!

Notes

For a balanced meal, serve with a side salad. To make this diabetic-friendly, use low-sugar sauce or fresh crushed tomatoes.
