Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan with a bit of oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the streusel topping and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together all dry ingredients for the batter.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until smooth.
  5. Gently combine dry and wet ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Pour half the batter into the greased loaf pan, add half the streusel topping, then the remaining batter and streusel.
Baking
  1. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Glazing
  1. Prepare the brown butter glaze while the bread is cooling.
  2. Once the bread is cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
Serving
  1. Slice and enjoy the pumpkin bread warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. This recipe freezes well for future meals. You can substitute for whole wheat flour or sugar alternatives for a healthier version.
