  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts Boneless and skinless
  • 12 ounces Tortellini Any type, fresh or frozen
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted or salted as preferred
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Low sodium recommended
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper To taste
  • 1/4 cup Parsley Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add tortellini and crushed red pepper flakes.
  6. Cook until tortellini is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

This dish is best served warm straight from the pot. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
