  • 2 cups broccoli florets
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey Can substitute with maple syrup or agave syrup for a healthier version.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the honey garlic sauce.
  3. Place the chicken thighs on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour half of the honey garlic sauce over the chicken.
  5. Arrange broccoli florets around the chicken and drizzle with the remaining sauce.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
  2. Serve hot.

Notes

For serving, place a chicken thigh on each plate alongside a generous portion of broccoli. To control portions, serve one chicken thigh and a cup of broccoli per serving. This dish can also be served over brown rice or quinoa. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for 2-3 months.
