Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry onion soup mix, crushed Ritz crackers, beaten egg, and whole milk. Allow the mixture to rest for a few minutes to absorb the liquids.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, mustard, and ketchup until well combined.
  4. Add the ground beef to the mixture, gently mixing it in until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix to avoid making the meatloaf tough.
  5. Lightly spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and transfer the beef mixture into the pan, pressing it gently to shape but not compacting it too much.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and no pink remains in the center.
  2. Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. You can also prepare the meatloaf mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to bake.
