Grinch Pie

Ingredients
  

Crust and Filling
  • 1 Oreo pie crust
  • 1 box white chocolate pudding (3.9 oz)
  • 2 cups cold 2% milk
  • ½ container Cool-Whip
  • 2-3 drops neon green gel food coloring Add more for a brighter color.
  • 1-2 drops green food coloring
Toppings
  • ½ cup green sanding sugar
  • ½ cup mini red heart sprinkles
  • ½ cup large red heart sprinkles

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the white chocolate pudding mix and cold 2% milk until slightly thickened.
  2. Add the neon green gel food coloring and regular green food coloring, stirring until the color is even.
  3. Pour the green pudding mixture into the Oreo crust, spreading it out evenly and smoothing the top.
  4. Place the pie in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours until fully set.
  5. Spread the Cool-Whip evenly over the top of the green pudding layer.
  6. Decorate with green sanding sugar and mini red heart sprinkles on top.
  7. Optionally, add a large red heart sprinkle in the center of the pie.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Best enjoyed fresh.
