- Stir continuously until it begins to bubble.
- Remove from heat and add the heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
Finishing the Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll the chilled dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Press down slightly to flatten them.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before topping with the nougat mixture.
