Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Optional Toppings
  • to taste chopped pecans or orange zest For optional topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare your muffin tin by greasing it lightly or lining it with paper liners.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half to form smaller triangles.
  5. Press each triangle into the muffin cups to form a cup shape.
  6. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each cup.
  7. Top with 1 teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce.
  8. Sprinkle optional toppings if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake for 11–13 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let the bites cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm, and can be garnished with powdered sugar or extra cranberry sauce. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
