Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 sheet 1 sheet of puff pastry Thawed if frozen
  • 1 wheel 1 wheel of brie cheese Cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup 1 cup of cranberry sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 large 1 egg For egg wash
  • to taste Salt and pepper Freshly ground for best flavor
Optional Garnish
  • to taste Fresh rosemary or thyme For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a small piece of brie cheese in the center of each square.
  4. Top the brie with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  7. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  3. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Best served warm. Can be paired with crackers or slices of bread. Consider adding a side of extra cranberry sauce for dipping.
