  • 1 package Oreo cookies Regular or special flavors can be used.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened, but not melted.
  • 2 cups chocolate chips Milk or dark chocolate can be used.
  • to taste colorful chocolate coating Candy melts or chocolate colored with food dye.
  • optional sprinkles for decoration Use for a festive look.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small egg shapes and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the egg-shaped balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  6. Dip each frozen ball into the melted chocolate to coat completely, then place back on the baking sheet.
  7. If desired, add colorful chocolate coating on top and decorate with sprinkles.
  8. Allow to set before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months. Allow to thaw in the fridge before serving.
