Ingredients
  

Pasta and protein
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Sauce and toppings
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
Seasoning and cooking
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked bacon to the skillet with the chicken.
  2. Stir in the ranch dressing and mix well.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
Finishing Touches
  1. Sprinkle cheese and green onions on top. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

This dish pairs well with a fresh green salad or garlic bread. For storage, leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
