  • 1–3 types Types of Cheese Choose from mozzarella, gouda, fontina, cheddar, or havarti.
  • ~1/4–1/3 cup Shredded Cheese For gooey texture.
  • ~2 oz Fresh Mozzarella Soft and stretchy texture.
  • 1/2 oz Gorgonzola Optional for a gourmet touch.
  • ~2 oz Brie or Camembert Creamy consistency that melts wonderfully.
  • 1–2 tsp Honey Enhances sweetness and adds glaze.
  • to taste Freshly Cracked Black Pepper Adds a slight kick.
  • to taste Flaky Salt Enhances flavor.
  • optional Dried Parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the baked Japanese sweet potato lengthwise down the middle.
  2. If desired, lightly mash the flesh and gather it toward the center to create a flatter surface.
Adding Ingredients
  1. Place the salted butter in the center of the potato.
  2. Season with freshly cracked black pepper and sprinkle flaky salt over the top.
  3. Add the cheese generously on top of the sweet potato.
Cooking
  1. Air Fryer: Preheat to 425°F (220°C), cook for about 5–6 minutes.
  2. Toaster Oven: Set to 450°F (230°C), bake for about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Oven: Preheat to 425°F (220°C), bake for 7–10 minutes.
  4. Microwave: Heat on medium for 30–50 seconds until cheese melts.
Finishing Touch
  1. Drizzle with honey, garnish with black pepper, flaky salt, and dried parsley if desired.
  2. Serve immediately.

Notes
