Ingredients

Noodle Base
  • 1 package instant noodles (any brand)
  • 2 cups water For cooking the noodles
Protein Ingredients
  • 100 g ground beef (lean)
  • 2 large eggs
Sauce and Flavorings
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) For cheese lava
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For cooking the beef
  • Salt and pepper To taste
Garnish
  • Green onions, chopped For garnish

Method

Cook the Noodles
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the instant noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes). Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Prepare the Beef
  1. In a frying pan or skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
Make the Cheese Lava
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and soy sauce. Heat the frying pan again and pour in the egg mixture. Allow it to cook for about 1-2 minutes before adding the cheese. Stir gently until the cheese begins to melt.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked noodles to the beef in the skillet, mixing well. Pour the cheese lava egg mixture on top. Gently fold the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated in the cheesy goodness.
Serve
  1. Dish out portions into serving bowls and garnish with chopped green onions for an added touch of flavor. Enjoy your delicious Cheese Lava Egg Beef Instant Noodles!
