Preparation
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half to create the ladybug body.
- Take a mozzarella ball and place it on top of the tomato half.
- Stick a toothpick through the mozzarella and into the tomato to secure it.
- Add small pieces of black olives on the mozzarella for eyes.
- Place a basil leaf on top or as wings.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
Caprese Ladybugs are best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a day in the refrigerator. Freezing is not recommended.
