Ingredients

  • 1 baguette 1 baguette Sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces brie cheese Sliced thinly
  • 2 pieces 2 apples (thinly sliced) Use crisp varieties like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup honey For drizzling over apples
  • to taste Fresh thyme (for garnish) Adds an aromatic touch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until they are lightly toasted.
  4. Remove the baguette slices from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Assembly
  1. Slice the brie cheese into thin pieces.
  2. Top each toasted baguette slice with a piece of brie, followed by a slice of apple.
  3. Drizzle honey over the apple slices.
  4. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Brie, Apple, and Honey Crostini is best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
