Ingredients
  

Pancake Base
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour (plain flour)
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 cups Buttermilk Or milk with 2 teaspoons lemon juice stirred in
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Butter (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • to taste tablespoons Oil (for frying)
Additional Components
  • 3 cups Fresh fruit (berries, melon, banana, etc.)
  • 1 cup Extra toppings (chocolate chips, coconut, nuts, sprinkles)
  • to taste cups Nutella or yogurt (for dipping)
  • to taste tablespoons Maple syrup

Method
 

Pancake Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Some lumps are okay.
  4. Preheat your griddle or frying pan over medium heat and add a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Use a measuring cup to pour batter onto the hot cooking surface. Cook until bubbles appear, then flip to cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
Assembly
  1. Prepare your serving board by arranging the pancakes in the center and surrounding them with fresh fruits and extra toppings.
  2. Include dips like Nutella and maple syrup alongside the arrangement.

Notes

For meal prep, pancakes can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator or frozen. Pair with protein sources like Greek yogurt for a balanced meal.
