Preparation
- Core and cut the apple into small bite-sized pieces.
- Place the apple pieces in a bowl. Sprinkle the apple pie spice and sugar on top, and toss to coat.
Cooking
- Transfer the coated apple pieces to a microwaveable mug.
- Microwave for 20-30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until the apple pieces are softened and hot. The total cooking time should be about 1-2 minutes.
- Crumble the graham cracker and sprinkle it on top of the warm apple mixture.
Notes
For added protein, serve with Greek yogurt. Store the apple and spice mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day for easy meal prep.
